Should All Asbestos Be Removed?
It depends on how much asbestos there is, where it is, the type of asbestos and whether removing it will cause more damage than it’s worth. For this reason, you should arrange an inspection in Brisbane from one of our asbestos environmental consultants.
Where Can I Find Asbestos?
Asbestos is usually found on properties built prior to the 1990s, however it is not uncommon to find it in properties built as late as 2004.
Can You Tell Me More About Independent Testing?
NATA accredited testing is required for all asbestos and hazardous materials samples. We have an independent NATA lab that analyses all our samples.
How Long Before I Receive Results?
It depends on the hazardous material you’re dealing with. Time frames are usually as follows:
– lead paint – 7 business days
– mould – 7 business days (minimum)
– asbestos – 24 hoursDetailed reporting can take up to 14 business days though we do try to get these to you sooner where possible.
