Importance of Lead Paint Analysis & Registers

Identifies Potential Hazards

One of the most obvious reasons you may arrange for the development of a hazardous substances register is to identify potential issues in dealing with lead paint. Doing so (and thereby teaching others to recognise these things) goes a long way to preventing accidents or reducing the amount of accidents that happen in a workplace.

Maintains Compliance

Under AS/NZS 4361.2:2017 Guide to hazardous paint management, Part 2: Lead paint in residential, public and commercial buildings), businesses should undergo lead paint testing in order to be deemed compliant and adherent to workplace health and safety regulations.
