At Hazard Control, we’re experts in conducting reliable, professional asbestos reinspections.
It is a requirement that commercial and industrial premises undertake asbestos reinspections every 5 years if they have come into contact with (or suspect there may be) hazardous materials on their property.
This is of particular importance if the material has recently been moved or disturbed. Should your asbestos be categorised as high risk, you may find that you need to organise for more frequent asbestos reinspections to maintain compliance (and safety) in line with current legislation.
What’s Involved in an Asbestos Reinspection?
As part of our asbestos reinspections we will:

- take samples and organise analysis
- compile an asbestos register
- conduct asbestos risk assessments
- provide recommendations and management plans for how to deal with hazardous materials
- return every 5 years (or sooner, depending on circumstances) to undertake asbestos reinspection

Can You Tell Me More About Independent Testing?
NATA accredited testing is required for all asbestos and hazardous materials samples. We have an independent NATA lab that analyses all our samples.
How Long Before I Receive Results?
When we complete asbestos reinspections and collect samples, results are usually very quick. If the laboratory receives them by midday, we usually have them by close of business. Otherwise it’s a 24 hour turnaround.
